SNK Video Bug?

Hey Guys,

When I go to any Mame-SNK game, the videos appear corrupted in HS.  I can hear the sound and the video had a splash of grey on it..... the video pops in and out a bit.. only does this with SNK videos.  I went to the ftp and re downloaded the 480p version set and it still does it.  What is odd is in Windows the videos work fine?? Anyone else ever have a similar issue?

I just tried the Metal Slug games and the video plays fine.

I run my Neo-Geo wheel from the standard MAME pool of videos and they all work fine.

I'll test a couple to be sure nothing changed.

All working good. I believe I'm running the up-to-date emumovies 480p snaps.

Hey Guys

So I did some testing.

 

With the Emumoves 480 or 720 from SNK CLASSICS folder download I get a garbled screen.  I downloaded the 240 one and it works.  I run 720 for all other emulators/themes including mame.  Definently is the videos that is the problem cause I tried renaming a working video and it worked fine in the SNK classics theme.  Does the MAME video set have the SNK classics videos? Maybe that would work.

I just checked the Mame ones as I don't have then separate. But I also downloaded mslug3 from the 480p classics folder and that also played fine. Is it all the videos that are gargled?

You keep separate videos for SNK and MAME?

I just use one single pool of MAME videos for everything like Giga

I pool the videos from the MAME video folder, however ONLY the SNK Classics are not working and are garbled. I did download the SNK classics from the ftp SNK Classics folder.  .  When I play the SNK Classic videos in WINDOWS they work fine no garbled.. just in HS.  

 

I also tried downloading the NEO GEO-SNK games from within MAME and I get the same results.  In the SNK themes the videos is garbled, only way to get it to work is using 240p videos... very weird.  Is it possible there is a setting or something?  I have no other video issues all others run 480 or 720.
