The HyperSpin 2 beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

HyperSpin or HyperPin

So I'm going through setting up all my roms and pinball tables.

I'd like to do the B2S Stuff, but I'm kinda split on just regular desktop pinball or going all out with my pinball goodies.

I know I can register HyperSpin with Visual and Future Pinball, but I also have the HyperPin files floating about and would like to use them too.

I'm not doing a dedicated cabinet or arcade. Thoughts?

Hyperpin is meant to be run on a two monitor setup.  if you don't have two monitors,  what is the point of having it.

and secondly, by DEFAULT *  it  can't run  Pinball FX2. or Visual Pinball X

* Hypeprin can only launch VPT files,  you will need to change the extension on all your VPX files to VPT (and add an alt emulator launch for all those tables)

* PInball FX2 = you will need to launch them as a custom system in the FP settings.

You can launch VPX PInball FX2 and all other pinball systems  with Hyperspin  (with RL).  and this includes the all the  VP tables that run the two monitor versions (dB2s files).

This is good to know. I've been avoiding Pinball thinking it was some massive setup process.

If it just incorporates with RL and HS I may have to jump on.

Especially if they have real Pinball tables like Tales from the Crypt and Star Trek available for this.

I"m currently using PinballX,  I gladly switch back to Hyperpin if its ever updated (the use of RL is a must!!!!!).  I prefer the Hyperpin menu over the PinballX menu.

I think you need to look in to VIsual Pinball,  the bast majority of tables are real pinballs.

Tales from the Crypt and most Star Treks are available in VPX.  including the Stern version released in 2009

Thanks for the replies so far. I should have given more details.

I do have a dual monitor setup. A 4:3 and 16:9

I'd also like to use FP as well (For some of the concept tables)

My primary will be VP 9.9.2 <<< Or something like that.

I didn't know there were more systems either...sounds interesting.
