Hi this is a long question, so i am going to break it up into sections, this is a little nooby of a question too :

1. How Do I add Wheels to HyperSpin? Which folder do i put them in? Any tutorials on how to make my own?

2. How Do add Themes to HyperSpin? How can i make my own?

3. Where Do i Add Gameplay videos if its missing from HyperSpin?

Sorry for the Nooby questions but have really been wondering how to do so. Thanks For Reading :thanks:

one thing that helped me out quite a bit in understanding hyperspins structure is the old documentation site. it's not on the new hyperspin site anymore but you can access a snapshot via the internet-archive project (waybackmashine). here is a link to a snapshot of late 2014: https://web.archive.org/web/20140416122555/http://hyperspin-fe.com/oldsite/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=48&Itemid=55

might want to read some stuff there.

cheers

Tim you just made my day!

I wonder why some of this stuff was never ported over to the new site. Seems crazy to me

as already mentioned the link above pretty much has all the information you need to get started. for a wheel you want to create an image in the .png format. for designing such image, use a image manipulation program like gimp or photoshop and design you wheel according to the guidelines described here: https://web.archive.org/web/20140326012628/http://hyperspin-fe.com/oldsite/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=81&Itemid=91 .

for creating themes you use the program "hypertheme" which comes with your hyperspin installation. hypertheme itself is quite self explanatory if you try out a bit. i think the program comes with documentation as well. again more info can be found on the website that was provides above: https://web.archive.org/web/20140325190617/http://hyperspin-fe.com/oldsite/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=68&Itemid=74 .

all this can be very confusing at the beginning (i know it was for me) but the more you read, the more you'll realise that overall hyperspin has quite an intuitive system behind it all.

for all your basic questions, there is already tons of information on this website. just use the search function or look through the forums manually. also take a look at the file structure of your hyperspin installation and note of how all the folders and files are organised and you soon should work out how hyperspin works.
