majorspawn Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Hi Guys, Can I get some assistance please, I am using Hyperspin and HyperlaunchHQ (not RL), I have setup Fade in for mame, nes, TTX etc using the same fade.ini setting file import. The fade-in is working fine except for "PC Games" where it does not kick in at all. Please note PC games is using PCLauncher which is also used by TTX2 where fade is working fine. Metalzoic Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 Are you sure it isn't as simple as you turned fade off for your PC System under its specific settings menu? I dont remember for HyperLauncher, but for RocketLauncher you set logging to troublshooting and it spits out a log about 100 miles long.

I refreshed it by disabling and enabling again. It doesn't even pause after leaving the HS screen to indicate that its trying to fade-in. Funny thing is it works with other systems with exactly the same import config etc. is the error log posted above the correct one? i cant see any fade-in specific diagnostic within. HI Gig, maaaate ask away please, i had existing media under fade for "Pc Games", the system name is "Pc games" also which is same as my database name. I have the default stuff here: C:\HyperSpin\Media\Fade\_Default I also have C:\HyperSpin\Media\Fade\PC Games\_Default the below: Layer 1.png Layer 2.png Layer 3.png and a Layer 2.png in C:\HyperSpin\Media\Fade\PC Games and Layer 2.png in the game folder " Shank 2" as a test I'm assuming even without game specific media it should show the default Layer x My Arcade Projects: SNES PC Project Vewlix Cabinet LS-30 Rotary Joysticks

gigapig Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 An update. Just did a Teamviewer session with Major. So we found that fade is working when launching through HLHQ. Thinking HS was not using HyperLaunch as I also noticed the HyperSpin setting.ini was missing the path to HyperLaunch although the games still launch.

What we noticed is that when launching a game e.g. "shank 2" directly via HLHQ settings > games > audit > rocket icon, the fade works and the screen can be seen. Have you set that correctly, is the system name PC Games in HyperSpin? That was taken from what I saw in your HS Log in the teamviewer sesh and is in the second log you posted. First log shows PC Games.
