Scan lines

Hi all.

I've been trying to get scanlines to work. No luck at all. No idea what I'm doing wrong. I have only got inter grated graphics though, and at moment mame runs sweet. If it won't with scanlines I'll leave it alone but would like scanlines if I can?

Can anyone help?

I've tried turning on hlsl in rocket launcher... Nothing. Turned hlsl on inside mame, nothing. Or isn't it nothing to do with hlsl? No idea. Just want simple fine scanlines to look like arcades used to.

I'm using mameuifx 0.159. (I updated to 0.175 but went back as some of the games were stuttering for some reason.

I've already tried using bezels and that wouldn't work as the games started stuttered so I'm guessing it's the intergrated graphics.

I'm using a gigabit brix PC. 2.4ghz quad core 8gb ram. Win 7 64

Runs flawless until bezels is enabled.

Why are there 2 topics like this? If bezels are to much HLSL will be too.

You should try glsl which may be easier to set up and less overhead, but it will only work with mame 0.160 or higher.

Ok thanks. I thought the whole point of asking a question on here is to for help? If I knew that hlsl would be the same as bezels I wouldn't have asked... Wow, sorry for any offence caused!
