Pokémon Uranium, one of the more interesting attempts by fans to build an all-new Pokémon game, is finally finished!

We wrote about it a few years back, not just because of the length of time it’s taken the team to put it together, but for how ambitious the whole project is. It has a tropical setting, features over 150 new custom-made Pokémon, the ability to talk to your creatures and even a whole new class: Nuclear Pokémon.

Came out like a few days ago. Trailers look pretty cool, hard to tell it's not an official game. Downloaded it but didn't install it. Would have been cool if it were some format that could be played on something other than a pc.

I'm kind of tired of Pokémon (other than Go) since gen 3 but I might give it a try.

I guess they can't make a profit of it directly, otherwise Nintendo will shut them down, I'm surprised they didn't already.

Could still have been free on some other platform. But I think I read they used RPGmaker to make it so not sure what features that has if any for making other platform games.
