RkH Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Hi guys, is it possible to use a animated pointer on the main menu? I just created an swf and can't use it.I searched on the forums and didn't see any post.
tcmt Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 i think you can only use static .png's in the "pointer" folder. but why don't you just use one of the artwork layers or special art layers? just delete any pointer that is in your "pointer" folder and make a default theme with your custom pointer put into artwork 1, 2, 3 or 4 or even as special artwork.

That is the othre solution, but only if all wheels work with the default theme. If any wheel is customized with theme, should not work, isnt it? Maybe with the "special" setting it in static position with his own animation.
tcmt Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 yes in that case just use one of the special artworks slots. you can configure the special artwork to always show in hyperHQ or via the config file. you might have to go through some "trial and error" to set the position coordinates but i'm sure you can figure it out.

Yes i think i'm able to do this. I created a simple glow effect for the pointer, will share it,
RkH Posted August 21, 2016 Author Posted August 21, 2016 As Special Artwork, its shows above the wheel... so the glow effect $%#&% it all.
