Updated netplay tutorial for mame or does it suck?

Hey everyone

Checking in to see about netplay and mame inside hyper spin. Being the loner that I am, it would be nice to play other gamers online in old school throw downs.

Is netplay still active for mame? Or does it suck these days/not updated? I don't know how to get it going, but I'm sure I can find some sort of guide online.... Looking for input on current status??

I have been wanting to get netplay going with RA at some point soon.

 

Bit of a way off for me. When we get some good guides in the tuts section I think a topic should be created in meet ups section or something!!
