Hi All

Currently in the process of setting up my first cab and I'm having a few issues with a couple of emulators, mainly

mame

neogeo

and just for the fun of it the game boy advance

mame and the neo geo are the same as in I cant find games, I do an audit after I've setup the emulator but the games appear red and not found even though they're in the correct file format and naming strategy

The gameboy advance is just the emulator i was wondering what people are using.

all the other emulators i have setup are working correctly just these 3

mame and the neo geo work outside of hyperspin if i select the roms manually

also has anyone got the winuae 3.1 file compiled by simply Austin?

Thanks in advance

Andy

just for info im on 32bit xp, winkawaks version 1.64 (neogeo) and mame 0.177 i know im using 2 seperate emulators but....

These systems are pretty easy to find online, Google is your friend.

Can't really post links here but there are a few of ratio based share sites that are fantastic!!

I misread our post.

Use clrmamepro to rename your to set properly so it matches the dat file database names.

That's what I think is happening...if you search around you can find hyperspin ready collections that are much easier to handle.

But the names of the toms have to

Match the name inside the dat file

Zero Delay ZD-LED  (20 Inputs)

The Zero Delay ZD-LED is a high quality 1 player LED keyboard encoder. It can be used to connect an arcade control panel to a PC via USB for use with MAME and other emulators. The Zero Delay ZD-LED is also compatible with, but not limited to Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 98, Linux, Android, MAC OS, Raspberry Pi & PS3. With 20 inputs in the form of 1 joystick and up to 12 LED buttons, the Zero Delay ZD-LED has everything you need to connect up your control panel. There is no need to worry about making your own wiring harness as a wiring harness and grounding harness are included, along with the USB cable.

I'd say save yourself the trouble and get something good like an iPac instead of some crappy thing off of ebay.

Gameboy advance emulator..... i use visual boy advance or whatever it's called.

As for mame.. do you have the path names setup correct? that's the only thing I can think of as mame names are never really wrong.. they use a universal naming system with mame.. the names are always the same as far as I know so I doubt anyone would have changed the file names. you should just use mame for NEO GEO as well.. but I do remember when I originally had neo geo stuff setup.. I thought winkawaks made the games look good but I'm sure they look just as good in mame??
