i have a request if anybody knows how to do this

would somebody be able to put together a little program that can take a "default" video and rename it to match all the roms that dont currently have a video?"

for example, right now im renaming a default famicom commercial video to match all the games that dont have a video

would be nice to automate this

again, i have no idea how to do it.

This app is another free renamer. I used it to standardize all my genre.xml files to Sports-Baseball.xml to rather than Baseball-Sports so all my genre wheels have the same look and feel. I did need to edit all my genre.xml per system as well to match only took an hour so not bad.

I seem to remember a while ago, the default image that came up for a wheel selection that had no video could be changed to whatever you want quite easily. Its been a while and a half but I'm pretty sure of it. Check your media/main folder. The downside is that I'm pretty sure you can't make it system specific, at least, not this way.
