kungblao Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 I had Hyperspin working fine until one day my virus protection deleted hyper launch. This had happened to me before, so all I had did was redownload it and put it into my folder and it worked. For whatever reason this time, it seems to be totally unable to start. The error that I keep getting is: Autokey.dll Error at line 569 Line Text: HideEmuStart(ms=2) Error: Duplicate function definition. The program will now exit. I have only seen this error on a few threads...and the one guy who put in on here before never got it resolved...so I'm really not expecting a result. I'm probably just gonna have to go buy Hyperspin again, but I figured I'd give a shot in the dark. If anyone knows how to fix this, I'm all ears...but I haven't seen anyone who can fix this yet.
FrankyRizzo Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 I never had the problem before.... But why would you have to Buy HyperSpin again? HyperSpin is free
Agrajag Posted December 2, 2016 Posted December 2, 2016 HyperLaunch is really old. You should be using RocketLauncher instead.Probably worth downloading the latest versions of HS and RL and reinstalling. Also, set your antivirus to ignore the HyperSpin folder.
kungblao Posted December 2, 2016 Author Posted December 2, 2016 because it only costs me $50 bucks for a guy to go in and reinstall it because I don't have the patience.
32assassin Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 for that type of money I'm sure you can convince someone to go to your house or do a remote log in and do a FULL INSTALL of the latest HyperSpin and RL. if i was you, I would exclude the entire Hyperspin folder from your Virus Scanner, and reinstall the root files of Hyperlaunch. your virus scanner would never delete the ini or text files Hyperlaunch/Hyperspin or HyperHQ generates.
eezetee Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 The question is why did my Anti-Malware solution see Hyperspin update itself, trigger an IoC and quarantine the file. Just ran Hyperspin in a sandbox and it is quite interesting. Why is this

Guest Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 The question is why did my Anti-Malware solution see Hyperspin update itself, trigger an IoC and quarantine the file. Just ran Hyperspin in a sandbox and it is quite interesting. Why is thisIt's simple. The virus definitions were updated and in error it marked HyperLaunch as suspect. HL is basically a set of scripts - virus programs can often get things wrong when it comes to this. You need to manage that, and either use a decent antivirus and / or add exceptions. So, where is my $1000??Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
