cowbells
My friend owns this system. How do you dump the games into playable ROMs? You need an eprom programmer, which you can find on eBay for like $30 or so. Open up the game, find the roms and take them off the PCB. Then, you just put the rom in the programmer, run whatever software came with it, read and save the rom. Then get that sheeeet to rom collectors! As far as making them playable, that's up to the emulator guys out there, but I would imagine that it would just work. Also, when removing roms from their sockets (hopefully you don't have to desolder them), use a flathead screwdriver and just be careful not to break any of the pins. It's really not very hard. Then, you should be able to just pop that rom back on the PCB when you're done and everything should be hunky dory. Just make sure you take note of where the 1 pin is located, this is usually indicated somehow on the rom. Also, every PCB I've ever seen has all the roms facing in the same orientation.
