does anyone have the settings for sega saturn & sega cd to use on nvidia shied tv ?

Uoyabause

they are in bin,cue format

do your settings have cue,bin,iso ?

Sega CD or Saturn?

 

i just finished Sega CD today been testing on Genesis Gx core though.

Sega CD

extensions bin,cue,iso,BIN,CUE,ISO

 

Not Tried Saturn yet it's on the list after 3DO rom sorting

got sega saturn working now problem, tried pico and genesis gx core and genesis gx goes to play it but black screen

Sega CD.ini FYI dont use this settings file as my special art and game text is custom

You also need the Sega CD BIOS files

Open RA load the core and go and look in Information Core Info

That will show you the BIOS files needed

Place them in you Retroarch System folder (Wherever your RA System/BIOS Directory is pointing to)

For Sega CD i use MdEmu it's working flawlessly.

And for Saturn Uoyabause

thanks, i will try mdemu if retroarch does not work.

i have added bios files and all are present now, but when i load game its just a black screen

i have 65 other systems running fine, this one just does not want to know

it tries to load it but just sits there

any ideas ?

question, can you play roms from external drive for sega cd ?

just tried and i get error opening file

i run them from a network drive

without bios I just got screen flick no black screen

 

Your roms are bin/cue? (SINGLE bin/cue)

bin named as HS xml?

Cue named as HS aml & inside the cue file you have renamed the line pointing to the .bin file to match the new .bin file name?

If bios isn't issue, for some reason, some emulators prefer .cue first (or vice versa)

CRACKED IT,

thanks to thatman84, you learn something new every day.

sega cd roms work fine on hyperspin for pc as they are, but yes i had to change the cue name to match the .bin now it's working.

Good news

i just spent many hours over the last few days converting a whole set from Ccd/img to bin/cue and renaming them. Less frustrating than trying to find the right set online

yeah it's a slog, I spent forever converting a whole set of Sega Dreamcast roms in a similar way.

Now it looks like Sega CD cue files will all need editing and changed to match .bin name

Also, FYI some games are freezing at the start of loading the games - using MDEmu

Adventures Of Batman & Robin, The (USA) - freezes about 10 seconds into game

Cobra Command (USA).zip - freezes when on loading screen

I have VirtualClone Drive & imgBurn

Mount the ccd file to a virtual drive

Open imgBurn and hit "Create image from disk"

Set an Output directory and start. only takes a min or 2 to convert. Then rename the output files
