The HyperSpin 2 beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Hi everyone! I'm very new to hyperspin and was wondering if any of you guys and gals could help me with an issue I'm having, anyways I was wondering if any of you knew what the best settings I should have to run emulators

imusing a laptop with an i5 dual core processor( I'm preety sure its 5500u.) with 8gb of ram 700mb hdd and I'm running them using hyperspin as the frontend also that's on a 3tb external hd I'm running everything from amiga and mame all the way up to psx I'm not running dreamcast and ps2 although I do have them setup as well anyways all of my emulators seem to be running fine except snes(which is using the zsnes emulator.) that one and n64 seem to lag quite a bit (not because of too many sprites but the framerate itself is running between 22 and 36 fps also n64 lags and nestopia has no sound despite what I do in the settings for these emulators any suggestions will be greatly appreciated and thanks again for your help!

got ya! yeah all of my emulators work fine except zsnes and n64 I guess I'm curious as to why it happened and what may have caused it in case I have future issues right now I'm starting to think theres an unknown program running or zsnes has issues with windows ten however it works fine when I run iton a different hdd thanks for the tip and taking time to respond! :)

N64 emulation isn't that great to begin with... even if you have a beast of a PC. I keep Project64 and 1964 installed as some games run better on one or the other. For SNES I used zsnes for many years before HS was around. But I couldnt get it to run smoothly with HS (Probably because it is a Dos program and doesn't send any windows announcments/ID's). So I have been using BSNES and am very happy with it so far.
