Ikari Warriors them bug?

Hey

So in my HS mame section I went to Ikari Warriors.. The theme works but the preview video does not show or play. I checked media/mame/video  and the video is there (ikari.mp4). I checked in the media/mame/themes folder and it is there too, ikari.zip.  I tried deleting the theme and re downloading however the video does not play? I played the video in media player and it works? any ideas?

Hi,

I have the same problems with some videos. It's not a theme problem (if you use the default theme in mame, you have the same problem). Some videos are not good. When I can't play a video with "films and TV" Under Windows 10, then the video will not display in hyperspin too. I don't know if the videos came from emumovies or from another source. I'll check the emumovies ftp to see...

Hey

All my movies are form emumovies.  The video itself seems fine, plays fine in media player.. I checked the thread it is talking about the video playing but not displaying?  I see no video box, nothing.. just the theme.. I hear sound but not sure if thats the video or just the theme sounds..  I guess there is no fix?

I have redownloaded the ikari mp4 from emumovies and I have the same issue. It's really a problem with encoding the video. And it seems that circo is aware of this problem. I think this will be fixed when a new video pack for mame game will be out.

Ok So can I recode the video? what do I use and how do.I do it?or is there an alternative place to download the videos?
