Senhor Computador Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I don't know where to report hyperspin bugs but here it goes: Despite having problems with the modelines (i fixed those using win modelines) i was having another issue, where the hyperspin would load up, and i was unable to select either system. if i pressd "esc" hyperspin would pause but the option that says "exit - yes or no" wouldn't appear. It seems that you need your audio card installed , this happened to me because i was doing a fresh intall trying to recover the error with the mode lines (i didn't had a clue it was that) and i only installed the basic, since the audio wasn't a "must have" to test the software i didn't bother. This is a very minor bug, but it would be nice if it's reported as i wasted some hours trying to figure out what's wrong
Senhor Computador Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 It's very well known, but thank you. the sound driver? bug? really? i went crazy looking for this
Agrajag Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 The bug usually causes problems when there are no speakers plugged in. HyperSpin behaving oddly? suspendedhatch Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 I wasted several months on this problem before finally asking for help on the forum only to be told "it's widely documented". I suppose that means among the developers because this is the first time I've seen it on the forums. It should be stickied. It was particularly aggravating for me because sometimes I had headphones plugged in and sometimes I didn't. Whenever they weren't plugged in, I'd get the error and then go back undoing everything trying to find what went wrong. My computer has an internal speaker but for some reason it doesn't work. I plug into my TV when I play games anyway.
zerojay Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 This forum's search sucks so I don't blame you for not finding previous threads talking about it. There's quite a lot of them.
