How to get a video theme to work?

Hello,

I have got a (video) game theme in mp4 format.

But i can't get it to work in HyperSpin. I tried the themes and video folder but no succes!

Where do i put this file and is it in the right format?

Hi,

Put your video in the video folder of the system you want to use it for, and then just add this file in your themes folder and rename to whatever the video/system is all, e.g. MAME, Super Nintendo, Turtles II etc

I am new to hyperspin. Are themes the game themselves?

Themes are a collection of images/videos that are put together to make the menu more customized and suiting to each item.

People sometimes make themes for each game but as you can imaging its time consuming.

Excellent thankyou i was wondering the exact same thing,i think replacing game videos with actual theme video is much better ?
