The HyperSpin 2 beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Hello guys, i've failed at the first hurdle

Hello eveyone!

My anti-virus won't even let me download Hyperspin. The youtube videos of it look great though :-)

I think it's HS's file operations that trigger the AV warnings.  But as long as it is DL'd from this site, the software is clean.  Can't speak for DLing it from anywhere else, tho.  -A

Thanks, I got it from this site so I ended up trusting it and disabling the AV.

Just bought Platinum so I’ll be downloading hypersync soon and donating to emumovies to get things looking even better.

Emumovies is the only way to go.  I actually began recording my own videos with Shadowplay in an attempt to get true 1080p videos.  But after doing 20-30 of them I finally gave up.  It's way too time consuming, especially considering you can get 480i and 720p videos that the community has already done.

Thanks Artman, I appreciate the confirmation that this is the way to go.

What emumovies donation option did you go for, if you don’t mind me asking?
I was going to go for the yearly one.

Probably shouldn't put this out there but I will.  I bought a 1 year, then I set up the FTP to DL every single system Emumovies had.  Movies, artwork, everything.  It took about 2 days to download it all.  But now I have it all on a local drive and I can just copy the files to my cab as I add games.  BUT I only have arcade games on an arcade cab (about 300 games or so).  You start getting into console systems, or you want to have more obscure titles or clones, well you can get your game count into the 1000s pretty quick.  If you do it that way, then my approach wouldn't make sense.

Thanks artman, I appreciate it. At least you bought a year , I’m sure a lot of people try and do it without donating at all.
I’d like to get to the point I was before with all the available Mame games and all the consoles upto the ps1 and the commodore computers.
I’ll backup my hard drives this time though as my hard drive crashed on the last arcade machine [emoji3]
