Cannot Launch Through Hyperspin

Hello all,

I can launch games through rocket launcher fine but in hyperspin nothing happens, not even an error message that I cannot find the rocketlauncher exe. 

 

 

Yes, my settings point exactly to the correct location including RocketLauncher.exe and I followed all steps twice through in the tutorial so I am very lost and confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated! 

 

 

EDIT: If you would like to see log files please inform me how to get those.

If they run through RL that's the main thing... and that still sounds like your not connected to RL properly though.

Double check the path! May even need to be wrapped in quotes if there are spaces in the path name, not too sure.

HS set as active and default FE in RLUI?  Default FE path set to hs.exe in RLUI?

Not sure what else could cause this.

yes - all correct - have checked 3 times as well as a bud of mine has taken a look too. Have tried 3 reinstalls. I'm right there with you - completely lost!

Set your RL log to "troubleshooting", try to run a game, then use pastebin (google it, it is better than pasting a huge log into post) to post it here.
@Agent47 is a wizard with logs!

*remember to turn the troubleshooting log off after you find the problem as it slows things down considerably when on.

I believe the error starts around line 54:

First it says it's not qualifiable for multigame?

Then the next 3 times I hit enter it says rom not found.... but I can launch through rocketlauncher....?

Sorry I am at work for next 5-6 hours.

I am no expert but that log looks fine to me... and you say they run from RL fine so that still leads me to believe its an HQ setting.

You didnt select "normal" launch did you?

Do not put the emulator path or parameters in HQ!

You do need the rompath and extension set if you are using any filters though.

It is literally just not launching! It says launch game, and nothing happens.
