newoski
I'm really stumped. I'm failing to find ANY 19" LCD monitor that is truly 4:3. All the 19" monitors I'm finding, though labeled 4:3 in the description, have a resolution of 1280 x 1024, which is 5:4... Can someone link me to a truly 4:3 19" LCD monitor? If most are happy running 5:4 19", I'll probably do that... Is that was you did Mike? Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk

njgsx96
I run an HP 19" @ 1280X1024 and have no issues whatsoever. MAME, NES, Sega, PC Games, etc all run look great. What are your reservations of it not being true 4:3?
newoski
Good question, njgsx96! I've been on information overload the last few weeks. As most original retro games were 4:3, it's recommended to run HS on a 4:3 monitor. But since 5:4 is so close, I guess it doesn't matter.
njgsx96
Cool, I just didn't know if there was a red flag on going something other than 4:3. I think you will be great with the 5:4. A lot of people run it, no issues.
rascaluk
It's fine. I run it on one and never noticed a problem. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
