 Hi,

i’m looking for the past 2 weeks a solutions on the hyperspin forum but don’t find anything that helps. The problem is if i startup Hyperspin the arcade buttons don’t respond. It only responds when i first click a button on the keyboard. When i get to the second wheel. The problem repeats itself. So back again, click on keyboard then the arcade joystick responds.

I don’t know what the problem is. I did everything what was said on the tutorial .

Can anyone help me please ?

I know that its the 10000000 time that someone ask for help with the controls.

But i’m really hopeless now. I can’t figure it out. Help is welcome.

hi kevin im having the same problem aswell you need to look in the log.txt file and you will see the boot sequence i keep getting an error saying parameters arent set and thats where i get pissed lol

I have tried the Hyperspin script.

The joystick and the buttons work.

But when i do nothing, the wheel spins and randomly selects menus. This is really frustrating.

I also tried to setup another profile with Joytokey with my 8bitdo controller. With the 8bitdo controller works everything perfect. So maybe the problem is just the zero delay usb encoder. What can i do about it ?The zero delay usb controller has no problem with playing games. But only if i set the controls up in the emulators. Not with Joytokey.

I have tried 1000 things and i found out if i don't set the buttons up in Joytokey and i setup only the joystick. I can navigate in Hyperspin without any problem. When i give an assignment to a button. I have all my problems back. So the problem is something with the buttons but i only can't figure it out .

Is this not just attract mode kicking in? Check the "Attract" tab in HQ. You can increase the time it takes to kick in (or even disable it).

The last couple of sentences dont make sense to me, you should always set in game controls in the emulators themselves. JTK should only be used to navigate HS and exit emulators. Maybe handle save states or things the emulator generally doesnt let you assign a button for.

I disabled it. The wheel stopped spinning. But it still selects menus when i don't do anything. It even exit Hyperspin without touching anything.
