frehley1 Posted August 15, 2018 Posted August 15, 2018 Somehow in MAME when I press the tab button to pop up the config screen, the enter key no longer is recognized so I cant make any changes. I've tried a couple of locations for the default.cfg but cant find where the correct config is located to change it.

Yes the mame cfg folder. Once set up with the controls set, it can be set to "read only" as it can get overwritten. I prefer to set controls in a ctrl file as this does not get overwritten.
