Default emulator not found....the error is back

Seeking some help.  Done hyperspin and rocket launcher for years but very little in the last year.  Turned on my computer/arcade yesterday and played games. Today it updated windows and my hyperspin would not work.  downloaded the latest update files for hyperspin from the site.  Hyperspin starts but when game selected it says the ol’ ‘’Default emulator not found”.  I remember this from years ago and fixing it somehow and I think it was something simple.  Any thoughts?  Thanks as always all.

Also I can start games fine from rocketlauncherui but not through HyperSpin startup.

Did the settings.ini get changed? Some users have reported this and need to open the Hyperspin settings.ini found in the settings folder and change the path to the Rocketlauncher exe.

Agree with giga, check the settings ini for the RocketLauncher path

It is pointing to RocketLauncher already. My hyperhq do I want it on HyperLaunch or Normal. When set to HyperLaunch I now get the cannot find databases rather than the default emulator message.  Thanks all.

Hmmm maybe it would better serve you to look at the official tutorials or my playlist? Do you have databases in your database folder?
