Just saying hello to the community.  Have a custom built cabinet currently, 2 joys, 40" 1080p, running RetroPie and have hit the limits of what I can achieve in this setup.  Looking to migrate to Hyperspin and hopefully get some newer consoles on there to do my 40" justice!

Seems I've got a lot to learn. >_<

Can someone help me? I recently bought a hard drive from eBay with hyperspin that doesn’t work right. Surprise. ?. I think it’s version 1.2.1. I keep getting this message in the picture I attached. I am very new to this and was just looking for advice of where to go from here. I’m already getting a refund from eBay and I bought one from another that seemed more reputable. Not sure that was a good idea either. ?. Just looking for some advice. If I can make it work I’ll keep it but I’m starting to think it would be better to start doing one of my own. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thx.

Firstly you need to read our rules section then secondly jump over to the tutorials. 

If you buy something illegal you need to discuss your issues with the seller or their support forum, as only theyknow how it was put together. 

However, the error you've received is from rocketlauncher and it means that mame hasn't started and rocketlauncher had timed out. 

Check your paths after watching the tutorials. 

Finally get your money back and report illegal software.
