State of Windows XP as of 2019?

I'm having nothing but problems with Windows 7/10 Hyperspin/MAME/Display issues and TopGun Driver issues. Curious if current HS/MAME is still compatible with Windows XP?

The mame site says "32-bit OS (Vista SP1 or later on Windows, 10.9 or later on Mac)"

Or use an older version.

The problem with XP is you can't use 64bit emulators.
