Hi,

I am new here and I don't know a lot of emulation and HyperSpin, so please be patient with me and describe everything as detailed as you can (or give me the links). Thank you :)

A long time ago I bought the 16TB version of HyperSpin from HyperSpin Systems. This was the first mistake I made. So far I know.

I never got it to run and they said it is the fault of my pc. So I waited a long time until I bought a new pc. But now the problems are the same.

The system does not run. Someone on youtube mentioned this website and told me to update the "hyperspin.exe" and the "hyperhq.exe".

I just downloaded the newest pack from this site plus the sxs.dll.

Copied everything in the main folder and hyperspin.exe starts now.

But I can't do a lot and I guess I have to map the buttons first.

I once bought a 2TB hyperspin version and this one worked very well, so I have a picture of how it should work.

And as I remember I have to use hyperhq for mapping the buttons and other stuff? But hyperhq.exe still doesn't start.

There also should be a way to update the whole system with a .exe? Don't know where to find it.

So these are my first problems to solve. Use hyperspin.exe as it should be and for that, I guess I need a running hyperhq.exe. Why doesn't it start?

Regards

Watch his videos and also avar has some good ones on here and YouTube too that are more up to date.

Watch thru part 1 and 2, they are older videos but are straight forward and have a lot of helpful information. There is only 1 thing missing from simply Austin's videos that was added later on in rocketlaucher. You will need to set the default front-end from within rocketlauncher, which u can find in another of his videos I believe, or maybe it was in the avar tutorial videos.

I began my setup after watching simply Austin's videos n it got me up and running. Because of ur situation with the drive u will probably have to go thru it and sort out whats where, whats worth keeping and whats not needed, but u will have a better understanding of the setup process after watching his videos and it will be pretty easy after setting up ur first system
