New GPU pain

Have any of our members been following the new GPU launches lately? 

I've been saving up for a new GPU for a year and am currently using an MSI 660ti in my main rig which I borrowed from my cab.

Luckily I am playing older games like The Witcher 3 but can only play it on low settings at 1440P. It still looks great and just about manages a playable fps of 30.

 

So has anyone managed to get an nVidia 3000 series or AMD 6000 series GPU? I find that I'm caught up in the hype and it's really frustrating to not get one, but I know I need to wait.

I don't follow new but I do have a friend who is big PC gamer. He upgraded to 1080ti a little while ago and sold me his old 1050ti. It's been great for what I use it for. Let us know what you pick when you do.
