mamouchka9 Posted December 20, 2020 Posted December 20, 2020 Hi HSFE, I was wondering something stupid : is there a way to launch a wheel with an XML or batch file ? The idea is to create a wheel, hide it from main menu, but call it trought a script. This could be an easy way to create (fake but working) sub-menu using only one instance of Hyperspin and easy to setup : Main Menu - Wheel A (for example « TV show ») - Sub wheel A1 (for example « Breaking Bad ») —> execute script that launch Wheel B - Sub wheel A2 (for example « Bay Watch ») —> execute script that launch Wheel X - Wheel B hidden - Sub wheel B1 (for example « Season 1) —> execute a script that launch Wheel C - Wheel C hidden - Sub wheel C1 (for example « Episode 1 ») —> launch a file as HS usually do - Sub wheel C2 (for example « Episode 2 ») —> launch a file as HS usually do - Wheel X hidden (for example « Season 1 ») ...etc etc.... Thanks !
Spawk Posted December 20, 2020 Posted December 20, 2020 Might not be exactly what you meant, but have a look at this:
Aorin Posted December 20, 2020 Posted December 20, 2020 I use subsystems with genres alone, they work pretty well but hiding it from the main menu is tricky. I must say that HyperXMLspin is a great tool, the one Spawk suggested above, I used it to create tons of specific themes, thousands of them for my subsystems in seconds, take a look into that, maybe it could help you somehow achieve what you want. mamouchka9 Posted December 21, 2020 Author Posted December 21, 2020 Ok thanks a lot guys, I’ll try HyperXMLspin and see if there’s something here for me.
