The HyperSpin 2 beta is here!

We’re starting the first public testing phase with Platinum Members to keep the scope manageable while we test the current feature set and begin to add more. In the future, we’ll provide a version for basic members as well.  On behalf of the entire HyperSpin team, we look forward to another exciting adventure with our community.

Hello everyone!

Hi everyone... just introducing myself and saying hi. I am from Texas and I'm literally just starting to learn all of this stuff and it's all new to me. I'm in the process of watching the tutorials to try and figure out how to do everything to enjoy what Hyperspin has to offer. Did anyone else feel completely overwhelmed and intimidated when they first started or is it only me?!?  I "thought" I somewhat knew my way around a computer system but this is a pretty humbling experience!

Thanks!!  I'm still trying to figure everything out before asking because I know it's probably been asked a million times, lol.  I'm definitely still learning!

Yes, I had absolutely no clue and I only wanted mame to work.

But with the help of some video guides I finally understood it mainly because I had no experience with xml's, linking many things together and naming everything correctly.

It all becomes quite addictive.

Same here no clue about setting up anything from scratch what the heck are modules , database, ahk, etc. Once you started with the most easiest system your journey will keep moving until you feel satisfied and enough. But this is not going to happen at least for me. I am almost near 350 systems ... so start saving money for your drives and backups. I would suggest start with Retroarch emulator for systems like SNES, NES, SEGA .....
