Joytokey lock joysticks mapping

Hello 

I've run into an annoying issue. When ever I reboot my computer, the joytokey mapping I have setup,  changes. Each joystick settings move and I have to open joytokey and update the joystick to the corresponding mapping setting. Than I also have to edit RocketLauncherUI joytokey settings. Just curious if there is a way to lock the mapping.

This is not an HS issue really, it's a "Windows" issue. It will randomly assign ID's every boot. RL does have "preferred controller" and "custom names" settings that can help though. Unfortunately RL isn't loaded until you select your first game. I suppose you could set HS navigation on all joypads so it doesn't matter which one is P1. Then soon as you start a game RL will order them to your liking.

Im not in front of my arcade PC so apologies for my vague response but there is a way to fix this within JoyToKey.  If memory serves me correctly you can select a set controller for each joystick profile so that the windows order doesnt matter.

I'm trying to configure joystick 1 to my Xbox controller. Whenever I try to set the buttons or the directional pad, nothing happens. It detects it in the settings of the PC but it doesn't detect it in joy to key. How do I fix that?

Have you used the tutorial which I've linked to above?
