Sledge Posted June 14, 2021 Posted June 14, 2021 I currently have Hyperspin running in single wheel mode with Mame games, starting with favorites showing... Is there a way to get Naomi games into that wheel or in favorites? I'll be running the games either in Flycast or Demul. TIA!!
dark13 Posted June 14, 2021 Posted June 14, 2021 You can do it but you must use RocketLauncher. Add the games in MAME.xml then use "alternate emulators" feature in RL to map those roms into another emulator (you must set NAOMI too into RL and HS, you can then delete NAOMI wheel from "Main menu.xml" so it will not appear in HS. dark13 Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 I never tested the thing as pc games into arcade wheel don't make any sense but it should work. Usually pc "roms" are .exe, you should add exe extension to the wheel, if the game works on pc wheel it should work even when "alternate emulator" is used. Aorin Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 I have the arcade machines into one wheel, MAME, Model 2 and 3, Naomi, Atomiswave and a few newer titles like Daytona 3, Sega Rally 3 etc, the system is called Arcade, in the case of Atomiswave and Naomi, you can use the Retroarch's module to specify what core you want for a given game. Decathlete below Dead or Alive 2 uses the Kronos for STV arcade (Retroarch core) and so on. But for other systems not emulated by Retroarch like Model 2, 3, etc, the Alternative Emulator tab is the only way to go for now. Aorin
