Hi all,

This seems to be the impossible task according to the internet :)

Has anyone found a way to set a default exit button on an XBOX One controller to exit games in Hyperspin/RocketLauncher setup ?

It's simple to do on an XBOX 360 controller, but for some reason the XBOX One controller will not allow any button to be held down or a multi button combo to exit, be it the back button or any other.

Any help appreciated 👍

Andyman is correct.

I use Joy2Key and Xbox One controllers. Exit(ESC) Is mapped to a two button combo.

I have not personally set up a timed button press but the option is available.

Hi,

Is this globally or do you have it setup for each individual system ?

Also any chance of a screenshot to see the button combo ?

Thanks

I use Back(button)+R3

JoyToKey will use that combo to send ESC globally on all profiles.

It's not Xbox One controller specific. I can use a Xbox 360/One or other similar (12 button, dual joystick) controller.

I never set up JTK in Rocketlauncher. It starts up with windows and switches profiles according to what application is launched.

If you are having an issue with RL managing JTK, I'm not sure if I can help.

Have you tried mapping a button combo to Esc in an app like Joy2Key?

Hi,

It's more to do with the hold down button function of the XBOX 360 controller.

This does NOT work the same when using an XBOX One controller in RL or Hyperspin as it's not detected.

I have tried Joy2Key and everything works fine (EXCEPT THE HOLD DELAY FUNCTION)

i was hoping someone had a workaround for it, but as of yet I have not found anyone that has done it.

No idea why the XBOX One controller doesn't have this feature, as when using an XBOX 360 controller it works perfectly.
