thomas3120 Posted January 9, 2024 Posted January 9, 2024 Hello, Working on my Amiga games by putting multiple disk parts in on zip file. Something like this: Lords of the Realm_Disk1 Lightforce_Disk1 Lemmings 2 - The Tribes_Disk1 . . I want to remove "_Disk1" from a big batch of zip files Is there a way to do this easily? (right now doing one at a time..) t
spindizzi Posted January 10, 2024 Posted January 10, 2024 hello, you can use Rename Master (free) or all others advanced rename utilities 1
32assassin Posted January 12, 2024 Posted January 12, 2024 I would use Bulk Rename Utility you can use Option 5 to remove the last 6 characters in bulk as long as they all end with the same _Disk1 https://www.bulkrenameutility.co.uk/ 1
Andyman Posted January 12, 2024 Posted January 12, 2024 I'll throw another app recommendation in as well. I use ReNamer (Lite) for all sorts of things related to this. It's a life-saver, and incredibly versatile. You can grab it for free at http://www.den4b.com/ 1

Zip is named "amigaGamename.zip" but inside In the zip folder are "amigaGamename._Disk1.adf" and "amigaGamename_Disk2.adf" ,etc... Seems to work...
