Breakout ( breakout )

Hi my fellow HyperSpinners i've had to set up hyperspin & rocketLauncher again & I can't remember how to get Breakout  (  breakout  ) to work as it has no roms for the game can you please help. Thanks

Try adding the game manually in your Mame database?  You can create a dummy zip file and name it breakout.zip if it’s required.

There is a proper way of doing it I just can't remember it's been that long & there's quite a few that run without roms but thanks

Extract the archive in a folder and add the folder to RL roms folder.

No copyright infringment, they are only empty .txt with a different extension

Breakout is not the only game needing a dummy rom

awesome dark13 how did you create them as i had to put an empty folder in to create a zip & how did you create those dummy chd files also

I don't have them in my mame xml, try copy/paste gtfore04.chd and name it gtfore04a.chd, copy/paste another .zip file and rename it rebound.zip
