Prevent CRT Burn-in: Remove 'PRESS START', 'FREE PLAY', 'JOYSTICK' from HyperSpin FE

Noob question. I want to remove the 'PRESS START', 'FREE PLAY', and 'JOYSTICK' animations that adorns the bottom of HyperSpin's UI. I have a CRT monitor in my cab and don't want to see these displayed items burned into the phosphors if I can prevent it somehow.

Thanks!

Sure, I personally do it for aesthetic purposes. It's unappealing to me. To remove them from the main menu; just delete the files in this folder.

C:\Hyperspin\Media\Main Menu\Images\Special

If you wish to remove it on a sub-wheel, follow said instructions, but instead of the 'main menu' directory, use the directory of the corresponding system's sub-wheel that you wish to do it for.

Example: C:\Hyperspin\Media\Nintendo 64\Images\Special

I always just used HyperHQ and unchecked the Special Art options for all the wheels.

I too find them to be ugly and unappealing. Though I wish I could just replace them somehow. (I'm told you need to do this in Flash, which I only understand enough about to know I need it to watch youtube videos lol)

If you are trying to avoid burn in, I also highly recommend turning on the 'attract' feature so that it's changing every couple of seconds. (You've probably already done this though)
