JFlash3785
Need help setting xin-mo up with xpadder so I can use it as a pedestal. It works great with games just not with hypersin wheel. I already have xpadder set up with a donggle for xbox controller 1 and 2. Not sure how to set it up and not knock that one out. Please help this is my 2nd to last step

albert_c
I don't know why it shouldn't unless the XinMo isn't registered as a typical joystick in Windows, and this may be the case. In any case, HyperSpin doesn't have native joystick support. Works with an i-Pac but not a joystick. To add joystick support, you will need to use the HyperSpin Startup Script. No way around that. There are two ways you can do this: 1. The easy way is save HyperSpin Startup Script.exe to your /HyperSpin/Utilities folder (create the Utilities folder if you don't have one). 2. Launch the program once so it will create an ini file. 3. Open the ini file and change 'Joysticks_Enabled=False' to 'Joysticks_Enabled=true'. Save the file and close the ini file. 4. Open HyperHQ and in the Main Settings>Startup/Exit Tab, set the startup program to HyperSpin Startup Script. Now launch HyperSpin and see if you have joystick navigation. Function buttons for HyperSpin when using the HyperSpin Startup Script are hardcoded. So in your Windows Control Panel Properties, once you find out which buttons are 1-7. The corresponding functions for those buttons: Button 1: Enter Button 2: Esc Button 3: Genre Button 4: Roulette Button 5: Skip up Button 6: Skip down Button 7: Favorites Now if this doesn't work, then you will have to use Xpadder and the HyperSpin Startup Script. I made a to help folks get that going but it is a little outdated. Be sure to read the comments in the video where I corrected the mistake. wilson79
Regarding the hyperspin startup script. Is it all I will need to use? Or do I still need to use joytokey for my buttons? Also with the Xin-mo I have 1-7 set as my player buttons and would like to use (example say :button 12 for esc and say button 11 for favourites) is this possible? Or is joytokey still needed? 32assassin
the start up script is to map a joystick to control Hyprespin you can map your joystick buttons to Exit your emulators using this method. http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/topic/28596-some-newbie-questions-about-arcade-controls/ I use the startup script to control Hyperspin, but still use Xpadder to map keys to my emulators. this is just a personal preference since I like to use the default keyboard keys for each emulator. progets
that doesn't solve the problem of not being able to use the pedestal with hyperspin Yes it will. Read this post http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/topic/28611-avoiding-third-party/ @Wilson79 - The Startup Script configures your joysticks and button when you are using the HyperSpin frontend. It doesn't configure anything for your emulators.
