gigapig
Looking very tidy Sir, but you might want to trim that Christmas tree thats growing out of its ass. Nice paint job, I wanna see the marquee.

rust2dust
Update.....went to clear coat the cab.....one side turned out beautiful. .....the other however bubbled up and ruined the design. The original template is ruined so....I'm down to a tough decision. .. Either I try to duplicate the original. Or I come up with another original design for the opposite side I already have something in mind.....
rust2dust
Getting closer....sorry about the lapse in updates... Between work and the holidays. ...seems like I haven't had 2 minutes to rub together. I still have a lot of work to do before it is done. Not to mention I still need to clone my hd before I put it in the cab.....I've seen too many horror stories as of late. Btw.....I decided to remake my original template so both sides match. gigapig
Very nice, inspiring me to make one. Has that other side been repainted?
rust2dust
Yes it has been repainted. I tried a couple other patterns but was not happy. So I duplicated the original. You can blame my wife....lol She said the other designs looked like shit by comparison.

damageinc86
are those WD red 5tb drives pretty good? I have a 2tb drive right now, and I have managed to fit everything on it besides one big thing: PS1 Really want to have everything on one drive. rust2dust
It's probably the only thing I wouldn't go cheap on. I've had quite a few hds and in my opinion Seagate is junk...I've had more than one go belly up on me I talked to a close friend who is in the field (builder, programer, ethical hacker) he swears by wd....so far he has been right The wd drives I own are 2 tb external 2tb internal 1 tb internal 4tb internal 4tb external And now a 5tb internal. Most are at least 2 years or older. Not a peep out of any of them.
Skinnysloth
Yeah, Seagate has a higher failure rate compared to WD and HGST (Hitachi) hard drives. https://www.backblaze.com/blog/hard-drive-reliability-update-september-2014/
