I can only repeat the response I gave to the last one of these threads: Good grief, only in America!

To those of us who live in the real world, being a videogame enthusiast and getting to have an arcade like that in your house is about as likely as being a space enthusiast and getting to have a real Space Shuttle in your back garden.

If I sound bitter, it's only because I am! :) I'm going to love/hate looking through that website...

Imagine the power bills.... all those crts humming away the bucks

Most games cost a bout $0.01 an our to run. Some hogs can be up to $0.03. He only has them on when using them or a part is going on so I am sure the cost is not too bad at all.

Hahahaha, I think this is the first reaction most people have when seeing these sort of things. But after looking around his website for a little while I learned that 90% of his arcade games are bought very cheap because they are non working or from an auction. I don't think all the games get turned on all together very often, or for very long.

Also, being a Youth Pastor I think it is a great ministry for him to share the love of classic arcade games with a new generation!

What a feel-good story! It's really awesome, I wish I knew how to work on old cabs, but electrical stuff is beyond me.

all it takes is a bit of poking around and a few electrical shocks to get that know how
