japiedmont1
Here are some pictures of my DK replica build. I used the Nintendo widebody specs to build the cabinet. Specs: 4:3 20" LCD, amd a10 5800k, radeon 7950, 4tb hd , win 7 , 4gb ram. I also have a 1000w receiver with 2 6 1/2" speakers installed on the top angled pointed to the back with a 250w sub in the cab. Running hyper spin with emulators for mame, all consoles and future pinball. Only having trouble running dolphin with Wii due to the crappy processor. SIMPLYAUSTIN
Great build... really like the idea of making a classic cab, but having the guts in it to run anything Only having trouble running dolphin with Wii due to the crappy processor. Have you tried the latest Master Builds from Dolphin? The standard Emu runs like a fat kid in a cabbage shop but the latest build got me running full speed even on my nephews Q6600 running at 3.2. I have to turn everything to native to get it smooth.
japiedmont1
Looking very nice, link to build plans/specs? Can't wait to move in a year and get me a place with room to build/buy cabinets. I used the Mario bros widebody plans on jakobud.com but I made some mods to the plans by going 26" wide for more elbow room when playing and added a drawer above the coin slot where I put my receiver and PS3 controller.
