randomizer VS shutdown

hi folks,

So, Randomizer is a really fun app, i have lots of intro video and everything works great BUT...

As my cab is over, i check hyperHQ to automatically shutdown when i'm exit, and now i'm stuck with always the same video

In fact, as randomizer is app which is doing is job as an exiting program, if you tell HyperHQ to shutdown when exiting, it just doesn't launch the exiting program anymore, and so , i'm stuck with the same intro video

I know what going wrong, but i don't know how to fix it

do you guys ans girls can help me?

i tried to define randomizer as a startup program instead a shutdown program, but that doesn't works.... so sad

I've tried but without success, you could try the startup script, which I tried as well, but you may have more success.

thanks for the tips but i was thinking there was an obvious box i was missing.

I don't really want to mess everything up cause i'm selling the cab really soon.

Anyway, i can bealieve that randomizer didn't think about that shutdown option, it'll make their apps totally useless for any winhidden cab

As you've probably worked out setting HS to shut down must bypass the exit program so trying to run something while the machine is shutting down isn't possible?

An alternative maybe to exit normally but run a script to shut the machine down. Perhaps someone knows how to do that?

yeah thx, i was also thinking about a .bat lauching randomizer, and THEN, shutdown.exe /p /f

Maybe have a script that launches at windows start instead of Hyperspin, the script contains.

1 . launch Hyperspin

2. Wait until Hyperspin closes

3. Shutdown the pc

yeah that could be an idea.... need to try it if it doesn't slow down the shutdown

also need to take a look at how do i make a .bat, cause that was a long time ago since i made something like this

Sad to have such a good app but can use it on real cabinet :-(

EDIT: Ok guys, i finally fix it, here is the batch:

start C:\"HS\HyperSpin Install v1.3.2.0\Media\Frontend\Video\Random videos\Randomizer\Randomizer.exe" -ini:.\Random.ini

paste it as a shorcut in the startup program and it will do the job even if you autoshutdown the systeme when exiting HS

the bad news is that you'll see a little black window for less than a 1/2 second, but on every startup ;-)
