OUT OF ORDER! Fix it felix vid

Wanted a new game not working or no vid placeholder vid for my setup. Im not a fan of the emumovies advertisement one that comes as stock and I was using a static vid, but it didnt look nice and it had a low static as volume... very annoying! Anyways... I made this one on loop. Its 4:3 so will fit almost any theme, runs on loop and has all sound taken out. In the preview below it has black bars as Yourube shows vids in 16:9, the original has no black bars at the side.

Just an old static TV tune with the FIX it Felix "out of order" sign placed over in overlay. Made it looked like it was stuck on and that you could slightly see the picture through the paper behind. Took 2 mins but I like it on my setup. Thought I would share....

INSTRUCTIONS:

Rename this file to "No Video" or whatever its called? and replace the old one.

Its in the folder...

HYPERSPIN\MEDIA\FRONTEND\VIDEO\

from the top of my head.

Also if theres any games in your collection that do not work but you want to keep for emulation updates, just rename this to the name of the game and place in the systems VIDEO folder. I love HS and Emumovies for what they do... but everything with that kind of stuff plastered all over it gets no play on my system

great idea, I hate seeing that ugly red exclamation mark... However... how do i get this to replace that? Is there a default "no video" video that im just not aware of?

the top of your head is bare mate, lol. the only thing in that file is intro videos and transitions.

Thats strange? I just looked at mine and it shows a transitions folder, intro file (My HS intro), and a file called No Video (this is the one you need to replace)

ok well just placing the file in there and renaming it did the trick. I wonder why I didnt have on there to begin with... oh well now I dont have to look at that ugly screen again! Thanks dude!
