mikomi Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Hi all, I'm working on a concept arcade cabinet running a full hd lcd. ( http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?39701-Wife-Friendly-Arcade-Cabinet ) As the concept is modern, I figured that the current theme's don't realy match the style I would want. I've got a long way to go but I tought I could share the first glimpse already. Note that's it's all WIP. As soon as themes, wheels, pointers are finished in my theme, they will be released on the FTP under my username. Cheers
dark13 Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 My vision of a global theme is really different but this looks really good. One question... are you planning games' description? That would turn the project into a nightmare... mikomi Posted March 26, 2015 Author Posted March 26, 2015 Unless I can find a way to batch scrape the info and turn it into a png somehow, i will only be adding it for some systems. Maybe i can do something with the theme xml but i'm guessing that's only for graphics and such, not for text.
dark13 Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 Yes AND No. No, because there's not a comprehensive database to use, so the creation of one is needed. Yes, because once you have a database you can batch in photoshop and flash artwork's layer creation. Check on the FTP in upload here/dark13 "infopanel tutorial.zip", it explains how to batch infopanels from HS xml.
