Shanenashley
Hey Everyone, I'm finally starting on my first Mame cab. and thought I would show a couple of Pic of my work (wood restoration, lol). I knocked out bottom and back to put new pieces. Planning on a recessed floor and adding casters. Just starting and hopefully I can get most of it done before January 18, 2013.Got a baby girl coming. If not no biggie just will take my time.

Shanenashley
Finally after Careful measuring and planing I squeezed a 27" in this cab. Can barely fit a piece of paper on the sides. I did build two shelves two for computer down below and tv board.
ericleroi
Coming along nicely - good job on getting the base sorted out and squeezing that bohemoth of a display in there! I reckon a nice speaker grill up top would add to the aesthetics.
Shanenashley
After 3 coats of primer and a full block session in between, finally got her painted. Went with a semi-gloss finish. I tested a full clear coat and didn't really feel an old school touch to it. next going into the booth is the striped down and metal reworked coin door, And I didn't make it in time, lol. Shanenashley
Here's a few pics of what I did new. Power switch,Speaker, and Got the Marquee lighting done. The Foil Tape was so awesome to use. And I just did a small test run to make sure the tv worked. Didn't leave it on long though because I am going to have to raise the speaker inside the cab some. The magnet is to strong and distorting the tv a little just on the top. I'm glad I checked. And please no arm jokes.

Shanenashley
Here's my cpo and Marquee. The Black and white circles are just for button cutout. they wont be in final artwork. Trying to keep it simple and cartoony,Brick is the same. Just looks like a different shade when zoomed all the way out. zomboided
I know this isn't helpful, but the pacman looks like he's holding a nob.... However, the foil tape is a fantastic idea! I was wondering how to get the light box working effectively on my cab with LED lights.

Shanenashley
Thanks for the kind words. I didn't plan on doing any, was just going to keep it simple. The sides were sprayed with a semi-gloss automotive paint and are real smooth with no specs of trash. Why cover up a good paint job, lol.
