C 64 problems in hyperlaunch

I have as of yet been able to get the C64 emulators to work in hyperlaunch or hyperspin.  I use WinVice 64 for the 64 bit systems, yet the ini file to get to the emulator seems to be buggered regardless of what file I choose for the emulator path.  Any suggestions-----have almost all other systems besides this one, the Amiga, the Dreamcast, and PS2 working fine.  That said, the C 64 was my favorite back in the days when I even had my own cracking group.  Any hints!?!

The ini file for winvice 2.4-64/vice ini cannot be found when there is none named as such on winvice.  I would of posted this in the hyperspin forum,. but without the rocketlauncher working the wheels mean nothing.  The emulator outside of hyperspin and hyperlaunch works fine, there are a myriad of Commodore CPU types to choose from, yet none are an exe file that is a working ini file.  I am using the x64.exe in the emulator path, yet no games will boot from it.

I have been follow Simply Austin on youtube (simply awesome really) and he has made it easy, yet this one is driving me crazy.  Roms are set up right, everything seems fine, but still the same thing.....there is no named file.

I know, newbie stuff, but would love to get good enough to contribute since this is the coolest project and true labor of love I have ever seen for old game consoles.

Thanks for the reply

THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU!

How you guys ever have the patience for us is beyond me.  Just played Bruce Lee and my face is hurting from smiling.  Back in the day I ran a cracking group that brought *pherical out and a few others, as well as the ever annoying demos.....the good ol' days when it was Eaglesoft and FBR that did most of the cracking.  I am ultra impressed.  Need to be a platinum member....just gotta save some from the good beer fund......good people drink good beer as Hunter S Thompson wrote.

You made my day!

Cheers!
