Also no more crashes just black screen with orange line like its trying to show and can now hit escape without force close.

Still has to do something with res I believe!!

Nope. Two will work.

Ok I created a background folder in hyperspinhelper and I would like to put backgrounds in there per system, so question is what would I have to put in the xml for each system to pull a custom background.

So for marquee images the code isn't in the program yet. If you are referring to a background for the controls, no such feature (though it could be added). If you want to change the background for the main screen bezel just replace the bezel.png file in the misc folder but that only shows while in hyperspin.

Ya I'm talking about the controls screen. Also do you still have the original select a game file the one with the orange HS logo? I deleted it and liked it better then the grey one.

I should have it, or can re-create it. The issue I had with the image was that I couldn't fade it into black to account for screens of different resolutions.

I will see what I can do for allowing for a background image on the controls screen. My concern is that it might be tough to get all the content to show well over a background image.

Also I plan to add folders on the FTP site that people can upload alternate images to.

Also when I was talking about backgrounds for control screen, I was thinking I could use a actual photo of the controller I was using. ie tankstick, F310 gamepad, Air Plane controller for FSOne RC plane simulator. Then put the actual control at the button on the image.

I get what you are saying. There is a program that does something similar but It uses a mark up of the controller. Honestly I'm not a fan of that type layout. It looks cluttered and hard to read IMO. I did want to find a way to incorporate a picture of the systems controller on the screen as a cross reference though. Just not sure how best to lay that out.

Hmm finally had some time to play around with this. When setting one of the monitors to false the program opens for a split second then closes. If I set it to say 3 or 0 whatever other number I get (program has stopped working) I must be doing something wrong :/ Monitors are in stock position etc..

Are you sure it only runs for a spilt second? The program runs In the tray and it won't show until you start hyperspin. When you first start it the program shows for a brief second then goes to the tray.

Also there is no error handling in the program so if you us the wrong monitor number (for example 0 isn't valid) it will close. Just look at your display properties and get the numbers it displays in there. More info on the Wordpress site.

Yeah it opens for a split sec then closes. I see the icon in the tray but when you move the mouse over it (no clicking) it just disappears. I'm pretty sure I followed the directions correctly. I have the monitors stacked and have primary set to 1 and marquee set to 2.

I will add some rudimentary error handing in the next release and we will see what we can find. Off the top of my head the only thing I can think of is a missing file of some sort.
