hyperspin cannot find launcher

Ok im bound to get this working this weekend (hopefully)

Now i have Rocketlauncher all extracted in my its own folder in hyperspin. And hopefully i have it pointed in the right direction

Menu_Mode=multi

Single_Mode_Name=MAME

Enable_Exit_Menu=true

Enable_Exit=true

Exit_Default=yes

Exit_Action=exit

Version=1.0.0.0

Last_System=DICE

RocketLauncher_Path=C:\Hyperspin\RocketLauncher/

 

Now everything works in rocketlauncher but when i try and launch a game it says cannot find launcher.....well its right there isnt it?

Do i have it set up right, please help.

I'm not sure but the forward slash /  might be a problem

 

if you are using Hyperspin 1.3

C:\HyperSpin\RocketLauncher\

Ok using 1.3 pated as above and now it hangs for a second then nothing like its still not finding the path. Anyone else had this happen

Did you run the transition tool? Because HS 1.3 only works with HyperLaunch and you are trying to use a launcher called RocketLauncher, HyperSpin won't find it.

The transition tool changes system inis to get it working.

 

The simplest fix would be to use HS 1.4 which will see RocketLauncher.

Might sound lame but isnt 1.4 just the exe? How dose that change the ini's? Im just trying to get this figured out.

Yes HS 1.4 is just an exe but it has been made to work with RocketLauncher so there is no need to mess with the system ini's. I assume you have read what Jeremy posted, so it will be up to you if you want to use the 1.4 beta.

Alright still cant get rocketlauncher to sync up. Im using hyperspin 1.4.

your Hyerspin is still uisng Hyperlaunch

witch is Hyperlaunch 2  not rocketlauncher.

 

 

 

I would suggest you start over on a fresh install,  this time around place rocketlauncher in its own folder.  Do not do what Austin does in his tutorial.

your path to rocketlauncher should be

C:\Hyperspin\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.exe

 

your Hyperspin folder will be much cleaner

without the \ end.

 

Edit:I also recommend a separate folder, for future updates is better.

Alright did a fresh install, took ideas from all above comments and NOW IT FINALLY WORKS!!!! Have no idea what i did diffrently from my last 2 installs but it all flowed smooth like it should have from the beginning.
