newoski Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Hi Guys, I've been using Jumpstile's standard MAME builds for a while now. They're fantastic! I've seen MAMEUIFX mentioned more and more lately and I'm curious... For HyperSpin, where we are already using a UI/Frontend, what are the benefits of using MAMEUIFX vs standard MAME? Thanks!
mikty Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 you have great glsl shader with crt geom scanline which is excellent!
gigapig Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Just has an easy to use gui like the old mame32 had, not that you need to use it of course but it can be handy. There are also extra games available in the FX version. Here. You will need J's xml unless you add them yourself.
