They wont download (sync) if you are a basic member, but you will be able to use ones you have or downloaded from the site soon. Sorry for the confusion, it was stated in the livestream that local media wasn't supported at launch but would be coming. The main reason for this is that the sync system needs testing. That being said, many image based media types were enabled as local overrides (local media) in todays .34 update. As stated in the update notes, video media is coming next, but there are some additional options that need to be enabled in the back-end and some testing. The dev team is trying to test and harden one set of features at a time but mostly bug fixing atm . And screenshots will be automatically utilized at some nearish point.

@fr0stbyt3 Adding my vote, also not a fan of this.

What it’s doing is using wheel art and some of your theme assets and animations. It’s dynamic across the whole platform. Of course image and video overrides will soon be an option. And eventually this will most certainly be a full blown HyperTheme category with all the bells and whistles. But by default currently the theme on screen will match your marquee. Same should happen when scrolling games.

Today we dropped some new video snaps for the Nintendo Switch. The set is now at 3,520 videos covering hopefully most of what people need. There is an almost unlimited amount of games (shovelware) for this system. I think the total is now somewhere north of 16,000 games in the library. So here is what we are asking, if you are still missing some videos for installed games or find an error, please let us know in the EmuMovies request section on the forums and we can prioritize those videos on the next round. Happy Easter Everyone! We have an update for the Nintendo 3DS today, version 1.1. 73 new video snaps havce been added bringing the full set to 583 video snaps. Big thanks to @RLBradders26 and @drewby for helping out with the recordings. Video Snaps are currently available via EmuMovies Sync and the EmuMovies FTPs. Videos are in HD and HQ versions. Our next release has been cooking for awhile, we are working towards are first big Nintendo Switch video snaps release. Progress is being uploaded every couple of days to the FTPs and 1.0 should be ready by the end of April. Feel free to take a peek if you are curious. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone! Wanted to take a minute and share the progress on this years big project. Today I uploaded another 250 videos and we are now over the 80% mark. As it currently stands we have recorded and edited 1683/2048 Video Snaps and should finish in Q1 2024. To make this set the team here used 2 PS3's to capture cards. Currently all released videos are ready to download via EmuMovies Sync and the EmuMovies FTP in HD and HQ formats.
