  1. Entirely impressed by just reading this thread. Go team
  2. Update: I successfully got these joysticks and arcade buttons configured for each system in retroarch, mapping each game individually as needed (particularly with N64 games) and in MAME . I cannot however get Hyperspin to recognize the buttons (joystick works) even after mapping them in HyperHQ.
  3. I have an older arcade cabinet with 2 Ultimarc Ultra-Stik joystick/7button controllers. While I have been able to map all of my games, I am struggling to map the controls in HyperHQ. In the DOCS I read that these use a legacy protocol and are less common. Any tips on how to set these up? I am really only missing the button functions as the joystick works to run the wheel.
  4. No matter what system/emulator is used, when I close any game launched in Hyperspin it try’s to return to the wheel menu and gets stuck everytime. I have to force quit HS via task manager…
  5. Yes… unfortunately . I’ll submit it. Thanks.
  6. Starting a standalone thread to track this issue. Regardless of emulator Hyperspin is getting stuck everytime I close a game. Sounds like the dev team is working on this () but wanted to see if everyone is having this problem…
  7. Any word on fixing this issue where Hyperspin gets stuck anytime you quit a game? Are others having this problem?
  8. Yes. Fixed. Thank you!!!
  9. Still can’t figure this out. Retroarch is a handful for my noobself…
  10. In retroarch, not Hyperspin I assume. Having trouble finding it
  11. Anyone know how to get rid of these side bezels so the game plays full screen? I have retroarch set for 4:3 display which matches my monitor?
  12. Okay, so I realized the way my Arcade machine is wired, the IPAC2 is ONLY controlling Coin1, Coin2, mouse left/right click, volume up/down, exit, and a few other none game pad buttons. The Joysticks and game pads (7 button) and trackball are all connected via USB to this Belkin device. Any idea what software runs these Joystick and button pads? Joystick and trackball are functioning, but I need to map the buttons Any help appreciated...
  13. thank you!
  14. I have my computer build ready to install in my arcade machine. I bought a new IPAC2 and am a little intimidated to set it up. Anyone have any good tips/ tutorials? For now I currently have retroarch and MAME as the two emulators setup in HyperHQ. Retroarch running PlayStation (swamststion), saga, Nintendo NES, Nintendo 64, Assuming I need to program the keyboard to match the ipac2 settings in retroarch and mame each individually. What about the CORE’s in Retroarch? here are pics of the current arcade setup. It has the audio volume buttons and the mouse keys and trackball (pointer mouse) setup in addition to the buttons/joysticks. I plan to replicate the settings and wiring on the old iPac (old software) to the new one. Tho I’m worried that won’t work…
  15. Well, glad to hear it's not just me... hopefully next update will fix it!
  16. Awesome. Thank you!
  17. Boom! I deleted the system and games and added fresh. Somehow with only one game path there's still 2 versions, but now the correct version is first so HyperSpin and HyperHQ are both launching them correctly. Thank you! I really appreciate the help... Now if I can just figure out why HyperSpin freezes everytime I exit a game instead of returning to the wheel menu...
  18. Anyone? Still having this issue after latest update...
  19. Thank you both. Getting closer! I deleted and rescanned the games, removed .bin from the extensions and I got the games to launch from HyperHQ, but with one issue. For some reason Hyper HQ is showing two game options for each (see below). The second launches, the top one doesn't. Default is to try the top one, so if I click "Play Now" or try to launch from HyperSpin it doesn't work as it's trying for that top one. How do I get rid of that version?
  20. I did fix this previously... UPDATE: I converted my game filed to CHDs and messed around with the BIOS setting in Retroarch and manged to get Retroarch to launch the PS1 games via swanstation (Hurray!!). Now, for whatever reason I can't get Hyperspin or HyperHQ to launch them. I have enabled Swanstation in the Supported Systems in Retroarch, I have made sure .chd is in the Extension Filters for Sony Playstation, Retroarch is my default emulator... what do I have wrong? Do I need to somehow set up Swanstation as the default core in Retroarch?
  21. Ugh... tried this. Still no go. Sorta at a loss. I still don't understand why Retroarch won't launch these games either.
  22. I am finding when I quit any Retroarch game (ESC key) HyperSpin tries to go to previous wheel menu but gets stuck on the loading screen and doesn't recover and I have to force quit HyperSpin. Anyone else have this issue?
  23. Here's the path in HyperHQ and the path in Duckstation, and folder on the F drive. Do I need to somehow tell HyperHQ to choose the .cue file?
  24. Thank you. Made these changes. Duckstation launching games no problem. No luck in Hyperspin. It's telling me the Path to ROMS doesn't exist... its the same path as Duckstation... what am I missing?
  25. Oh... interesting. Let me know if you solve it with the exit script.
