The terrible theme I have for this is labeled 16:9 in the info.txt, but it's not on the site, so...? Here's a proper 4:3 theme for this very obscure Bally/Midway game. As usual, the wheel is in the zip. Enjoy!

The theme I have was created anonymously and isn't on the site, so I decided to whip up a new one for this unique game. To showcase its uniqueness, I made all of the theme elements float around like they're in zero gravity. It made for a fun look. If the floating background makes you dizzy, just change "hover" to "none" on Artwork1 in the XML. The matching wheel image is included in the zip as usual.

I thought this fun maze-shooter could use a theme upgrade, so here you go. As usual, the matching wheel image is in the zip. Game on!
  4. HyperSpin's sister site, EmuMovies, has a ton of media if you can't find what you need here. Between the two, you should be in very good shape.

As far as I can see, there's zero marketing materials for this obscure game, so I got creative with it. A matching wheel image is included in the zip. Enjoy!
  6. In HyperHQ: Wheel Settings > (the wheel you want) > Navigation/Themes > put a check in Roms Only
  7. lol this game isn't a ripoff of Van Helsing or anything...
  8. I'm so happy HS1 has magically come back to life. I would love to know what Microsoft broke - and then fixed - though.
  9. That is so odd. I'm not blocking any of them, and it wasn't working before the most recent update.
  10. HEY! I randomly tested HS1 on my Win11 setup today and to my great surprise - IT WORKS!
  11. I'm just glad my one remaining cabinet is on Windows 7 and will stay that way. (I sold Mortal Kombat II and Cruis'n World due to moving and downsizing here soon). Thankfully, all the Windows 11 issues affect for me is where my dev install of HyperSpin lives - I've moved it to my Windows 10 laptop, so I can keep making themes. Maybe we'll get lucky and Microsoft will fix what they keep breaking. From what I'm reading, it's affecting much more than just HyperSpin.
  12. @jesfknkrys Thanks. I figured out that I needed to uninstall the update, then restart, then empty Software Distribution, and then run the app. All good now!
  13. How did you block it using that? I don't see the update in that app?

Yeah, I know there's several themes for this game already. It's just that I've never liked photography in game artwork. It's kind of jarring amongst the other games' hand-drawn artwork, y'know? The matching wheel image is in the zip. You know the drill. Hehe.

Unusual Japanese-themed Surround-style game that needed a proper theme. The characters are from an existing theme by an unknown author, so, thanks whoever you are? The matching wheel image is in the zip as usual. Game on!

Thought I was gone, dintcha? Not gone though, just dealing some big-ticket real world stuff that's eating nearly all my free time. Here's a proper theme for a game that's needed one for a very long time. The matching wheel image is in the zip. More to come as I'm able...
  17. It would be fairly easy to use the existing Wii XML with a Classic Controller-only wheel, setting HyperHQ to Wheels Only, and then just populating the Wheels folder with Classic Controller-compatible games from the Wikipedia list. Alternatively, you could use the wiki list and manually whittle down the full Wii XML. Either way wouldn't be all that much work.
  18. Yes. If you only have a few games on a wheel, it will display them over and over. Wheels are round and what goes around, comes back around. One solution would be to add more games until it's less repetitious.
  19. Find the game specified in your log and test-launch it directly in RocketLauncherUI. If it launches there, you have an issue with how HyperSpin is interfacing with RL.
  20. Convenience feature needed: When viewing a game's Details screen, users should have the option to match the game to the available media, without having to rename the rom to make the match. This may be able to be accomplished via an Alias field, where the game's filename points to the proper database entry.
  21. Best practice: Instead of auto-installing an emulator on system-add, HS2 should be asking the user if they already have an existing emulator installation they'd prefer to use. This would save a lot of confusion and extra steps later removing the auto-added emulator and then assigning the emulator you already have.
  22. The roms could be almost literally anywhere on the hard drive, as there's no restriction on their location in most frontends and emulators. One way to check would be to use Windows Explorer's Search function and search on "roms" and then "isos" (if you have any disc-based systems on your PC). That should reveal any other locations on the hard drive where they might be. Good luck with your new install!

  24. Feel free to ask here. Glad you got the controls sorted!
  25. That would be your issue then. Check Device Manager to see if they're listed there, and proceed from that point to get them recognized once again. Another thought occurred to me - how are your joysticks connected? Keyboard interface or something else? If it's the former, the interface is the device you're looking for in Device Manager. And if that's the case, it's probably a loose ground wire that is at fault.
